The primary focus of an Infant Care Specialist is to provide assistance during the post delivery and recovery period.  This includes all aspects of newborn care such as feeding, changing, bathing, infant laundry and sterilizing bottles.  Another duty is to assist parents in understanding their newborns by emphasizing the importance of each developmental process; paying special attention to social/emotional and communication development. 

Another key objective is to help transition the baby to a regular feeding and sleeping schedule.

In summary, The Nanny On The Move will provide nurture and care for the baby, and provide parental guidance as well as education, which can be especially helpful to first time parents.
